First and foremost, I am a single mom to my two angels. I am a High School English teacher and recently had too much time on my hands, thank you COVID! My life has been a rollercoaster, with many loops. I love to read but I was too afraid to try my hand at writing. During quarantine, I had no more excuses.
I found that I love it! We have made this a family project, my 11 year old son has been creating the covers for each of my books (and getting paid for it). Each of my books center around characters who struggle to overcome some type of trauma in their life. I have used personal experiences to help celebrate powerful men and women who become the heroes in their own lives, they are the survivors. They are the true heroes in the world!
