I am a multi-passionate person unconventionally combining my creativity to build a life I love. I have been a professional photographer, a graphic artist, a public relations assistant, a retail manager, a fundraiser for a non-profit, an artist, a voice actor…all this and I’ve been a high school English teacher for 25 years. For over forty years, I have been journaling and painting and I swear it keeps me sane. I am a columnist for Elephant Journal and the reception my writing received told me there was a book begging to be written and that became Permission to Land: Searching for Love, Home & Belonging, and the companion journal Permission to Land: Personal Transformation Through Writing.
I earned my B.A. from SUNY New Paltz, an M.A. from LIU/Post, and an M.S. from the University of Phoenix, and I have been a high school English teacher for more than twenty-five years.
