Brenda K Ward lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she enjoys a remarkable life and all the city offers. She is retired and a full-time novelist. Brenda spent most of her years living in downtown Chicago where she worked as well. She has degrees in English Education an M.S. in Psychology, and also a partial doctorate in Studies of Human Behavior.
She spent time in New York City doing research and visiting the historical museums for her book The New Women and says, Writing is not just a job - it’s a passion. I pour my heart and soul into every book I write, spending countless hours developing characters and intense chapters that keep readers engaged from start to finish. She prefers calling herself a Panster for the most part. Simply put, pantsing means writing a novel by the seat of your pants - that is, without an outline or a detailed plan. It's a method that involves embracing spontaneity and allowing the story to unfold organically as you write.
The surprise of the find-in plot that comes out of nowhere and shocks your pants off (no pun intended) is what keeps Brenda going. She says, I guess I'm among the best such as Stephen King, Margaret Atwood, James Joyce, Dean Koontz, and even Earnest Hemmingway only to mention a few. Over the years, I have honed my storytelling skills and developed a unique voice that captures the essence of human emotion and behaviors in a truly authentic way. If you’re looking for an engaging and entertaining read, look no further than her collection of novels.
