Anja Massetani was born in Dresden, Germany. Now, she lives near Pisa, in Italy. Since childhood, reading has always been her passion. However, only a few years ago, on the wave of the paranormal romance boom, she also approached the world of writing, debuting in 2014 with Immelancholy, innanzitutto vendetta, a dystopian/paranormal romance written under the pseudonym Sophie Martin.
For Emma Books, she wrote Pappa al pomodoro, a short contemporary romance.
Together with Alice Winchester she published the Romantic Suspense Duo Cobalto, and the New Adult Mille prime notti and Mille volte tornerai, previously published with Emma Books and now with Self-Publishing.
She loves reading everything, preferring the romance novel in all its nuances, and this also applies to writing. In her spare time, she likes to mess around in the kitchen, baking bread and trying new and old recipes. She loves candles, herbs, and infusions. Moreover, she has a strong passion for metal, country rock music, and even the NFL. When she doesn’t write, she’s traveling somewhere in the world.
Out of scars (Forse in un’altra vita in Italian) is her first novel translated into English.
